Kar98k airsoft rifle (Green Gas) - polymer version
The Kar98k airsoft rifle was made of metal and wood-like polymer. The metal was used for the barrel, lock, sights and fittings. The polymer is used for the stock (wood imitation), and the gas drive provides a high rate of fire.
The manufacturer has also made an effort to reproduce the principle of shooting this rifle as well as possible. The replica shoots 6mm BBs, which are placed in special shells. The shells with the BBs are inserted into the chamber in the same way as in the firearm version - either manually one at a time or by means of a so-called "boat", which is placed just above the chamber and then all five "BBs" are inserted in one motion. The Kar98k is a replica of the 4-barrelled rifle, and here too this system has been retained. Each shot has to be reloaded by making four movements with the lever. After the shot is fired and the next BB is loaded - the empty shell pops out in the same way as in real shooting.
This rifle, used by many World War II reenactors, was equipped on many fronts in Europe at the time. A treat for collectors and enthusiasts!
